Once you have created your event and ticket types, you should present that somewhere on your website. And that is where shortcodes are kicking in.
To make things even easier for you, good people from Tickera created a shortcode builder which creates a shortcode based on the options you have selected. Shortcode builder button is placed anywhere where you can find all of the rest standard WordPress formatting tools (pages, posts, custom post types of other plugins, etc.) and, magically, shortcodes created by it will work anywhere you see Tickera shortcode builder button.
Once you hit Tickera shortcode builder button, a popup will appear where you can select from the dropdown which Tickera content you would like to represent and based on the selection there, shortcode attributes that will appear below will be different.
So, let's dig in and see what are the options.
Ticket/Add to cart button
First option and selected by default is the one that is most often used - ticket/add to cart button.
When this option is selected you will find the following options at your disposal:
Finally when selecting all of the options, hit Insert Shortcode button and a shortcode with all the necessary attributes will appear.
Event Tickets
Event tickets shortcode will add a table with all of the tickets available for certain event. When this item is selected in the dropdown menu, following options will be available:
Event Date & Time
This shortcode will display start and end date and time that you have selected while creating your event.
The only option available here is a dropdown box where you can select an event you want to display date and time for.
Event Location
Event Location shortcode will display an address or whatever else you have entered in the corresponding field when creating your event.
Obviously, here as well you get to choose only the event which you want to present location for.
Event Terms & Conditions
To place your event's terms and conditions on your page or post, select this item and select an event you want to put Terms & Conditions for.
Event Logo
Got a nice logo for your event you want place all over your website? No problem! Just select this shortcode and select for which event you want to present your logo.
Event Sponsors Logo
If you have the obligation to place your event sponsor's logo on your page or post, you can easily do that by placing a Event Sponsors Logo shortcode.
Number of tickets sold for an event
This shortcode will let you display a number of the total tickets sold for the certain event regardless of how many ticket types you have associated to that event.
Number of tickets left for an event
With this shortcode you will be able to present how many total tickets, regardless of the ticket types, are still available for your event.
Number of sold tickets
By selecting this shortcode you can display how many tickets of the selected ticket type are sold.
Number of available tickets
With this shortcode you can present how many tickets of the selected ticket type are still available.
Display Order History for a User
This shortcode will display a complete order history for the logged in user. However, that requires having your users registered and logged in. So, for example, if you have set Force Login option in Tickera Settings that means that only registered and logged in users will be able to purchase tickets but they will also have the option to visit this page again and see all of their previous purchases and download tickets at the same time.
This shortcode doesn't have any special attributes and should be placed "as is".
* if you installed our Event Calendar add-on, an additional item will appear in the shortcode dropdown menu for inserting a shortcode that displays Event Calendar.
