I have activated add-ons but can’t see them within Tickera menu

FAQ & Troubleshooting · 2 min read · Updated May 21, 2026

you’ve activated Tickera add-ons (Seating Charts, Custom Forms, Bridge for WooCommerce, etc.) but they don’t appear in the Tickera admin menu — or they’re partially showing — and you can’t figure out why.

The most common cause: multisite activation mismatch

On WordPress Multisite networks, Tickera Core and Tickera add-ons need to be activated at the same level:

  • If Tickera Core is Network Activated, every add-on must also be Network Activated (or active per-site, but consistently).
  • If Tickera Core is per-site activated (single subsite), add-ons must be Network deactivated and activated on the same subsite.

When one is network-active and the other isn’t, the add-on can’t register its menu items and silently fails to surface in the Tickera menu.

Fix on Multisite

  1. Go to My Sites → Network Admin → Plugins.
  2. Check Tickera Core’s status — is it Network Active or only per-site?
  3. Match every Tickera add-on to the same state:
    • Core network-active → deactivate add-on network-wide, then network-activate it.
    • Core per-site → ensure add-on is network-deactivated, then activate on the same subsite.
  4. Reload Tickera admin — the add-on’s menu items should appear.

Single-site (non-Multisite) install: what to check

If you’re not on Multisite and the add-on still doesn’t appear:

  • License key — most paid add-ons need a valid Tickera license active before they unlock. Check Tickera → Account — is your licence showing Active?
  • Version mismatch — an old Tickera Core with a new add-on (or vice versa) can fail to register. Update both to the latest versions.
  • Plugin file integrity — if the add-on zip was corrupted during upload, files might be missing. Re-download from your Tickera account and re-install.
  • Conflict with another plugin — temporarily deactivate non-Tickera plugins and check. A registration-order clash with another plugin can cause silent failure.

If the add-on requires a specific Tickera Core version

Some newer add-ons require a minimum Tickera Core version. The add-on’s plugin description (in WP admin → Plugins) usually states the requirement. If your Core is older, update it first.
