Missing Payment Gateways and Option to Add New Ticket Template

you opened Tickera → Settings → Payment Gateways and see a notice saying “GET PREMIUM SUPPORT, MORE PAYMENT GATEWAYS AND UNLOCK ADDITIONAL FEATURES”, or you opened Tickera → Ticket Templates and see “CREATE UNLIMITED NUMBER OF TICKET TEMPLATES, GET PREMIUM SUPPORT AND UNLOCK ADDITIONAL FEATURES”. Both messages mean the same thing: you have the free version of Tickera active, not the premium one. Switching to premium unlocks both.

Why this happens

There are two Tickera packages:

  • Tickera (free) — downloaded from WordPress.org, comes with limited gateways (basically just offline + free) and limited template slots.
  • Tickera (Premium) — downloaded from your members area after purchasing a license. Includes all premium gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.Net, etc.), unlimited templates, premium support.

If both are installed, the free version takes precedence and locks the premium features behind the upsell notices.

The fix: switch to premium

  1. WordPress admin → Plugins.
  2. Find the plugin labeled simply Tickera. Deactivate it, then delete it.
  3. Log into your members area on tickera.com.
  4. Download Tickera Premium (latest version).
  5. WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the premium ZIP, install, activate.
  6. Go to Tickera → Account, paste your license key, save.

You don’t lose anything. All your settings, events, orders, attendees — every piece of data sits in the WordPress database, not in plugin files. Deactivating and deleting the plugin code doesn’t touch the data. When premium activates, your store is exactly where you left it.

How to verify it worked

After activating premium:

  • Tickera → Settings → Payment Gateways — the upsell notice is gone, you see the full list of available gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.Net, Mollie, Braintree, PayU, plus any add-on gateways).
  • Tickera → Ticket Templates — the upsell notice is gone, you can create unlimited templates.
  • Tickera → Account — shows your license as Active, not FREE.
