– Ticket price and fee ticket template element
you want to show the ticket’s price plus any per-ticket fees together as a single combined value on the printed PDF ticket — useful for events that pass processor fees on to buyers and want full transparency on the ticket itself.
The fix: a free add-on plugin
We maintain a small add-on that adds a new ticket-template element called “Ticket Price and Fee”. Once active, the element appears in the template builder’s element list, ready to drag onto your ticket layout.
- Download: custom-tickera-ticket-element-order-price.zip
- WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, install, activate.
- Open Tickera → Ticket Templates, edit a template.
- Drag the new Ticket Price and Fee element onto your layout. Position and style it.
- Save. From the next ticket onward, the printed PDF shows price + fee combined.
What it shows
The element renders the base ticket price plus any configured fees as one number — e.g. if your ticket is \$50 and you charge a \$1.50 booking fee, the element prints \$51.50 rather than splitting them. The buyer sees the all-in total they actually paid, on the ticket itself, no surprises.
When you’d use it
- Pass-through processor fees. You add a small surcharge per ticket to cover Stripe/PayPal fees — the ticket should show the actual amount the buyer paid.
- Per-ticket booking fee. Service fee, processing fee, sponsor levy — anything added on top of base price.
- Audit / receipt trail. Tickets that double as receipts need to show the all-in amount.
Alternatives
If you want price and fee as separate elements (showing base + fee on two lines instead of combined), use the separate Ticket Base Price element together with the order’s fee element. The choice between combined and split is about how transparent you want the receipt to feel.
