Installation and Settings page
A guide to installing and configuring the Speakers add-on. Activate it like any Tickera add-on, then configure global defaults (display order, social-link icons, bio length truncation) on its settings page before creating individual speaker entries.
Speakers add-on is installed and activated just like any other WordPress plugin. If you are unsure about this, you can find detailed instruction on this here. However, in order for this add-on to work, you must have Tickera installed and activated on your website.
Once installed and activated, we’d first suggest you to navigate to the Settings area of Tickera. Once there, you will notice that another tab appeared named Speakers with the following options at your disposal:
- Show Speakers in Popup – Whether to display speaker profile on the page or in the popup without loading new page
- Speakers Slug – slug for the speakers archive page
- Speakers Category Slug – Slug for the speakers category archive page
Of course, like on any other settings page when you make some changes, hit the Save Changes button.
