AffiliateWP — an add-on for the Tickera plugin

Turn fans into
a sales team that pays itself.

Let attendees become affiliates. They share their referral link, you sell more tickets, they take a cut. Powered by the AffiliateWP plugin and Tickera’s official integration. Free, hosted on WordPress.org.

  • Anyone can register as an affiliate on your site
  • Per-affiliate referral link — tracks every sale
  • Per-event campaigns — custom commission per show
  • In-depth stats — clicks, conversions, earnings

Maintained by Tickera. Requires the AffiliateWP plugin (sold separately).

What you get

Six ways AffiliateWP
drives ticket sales for you.

The Tickera × AffiliateWP integration bridges two best-in-class plugins. Tickera handles the tickets, AffiliateWP handles the affiliates, the integration ties referrals to ticket sales.

Affiliate registration

Let visitors sign up to become affiliates directly on your site. They get a dashboard, a referral link, and stats — no manual onboarding.

Referral link tracking

Every affiliate gets a unique URL. When a ticket sells through that link, the commission’s logged automatically. No coupon codes to manage.

Per-event campaigns

Tailor referral campaigns for each event to suit you and your affiliates — AffiliateWP’s own campaign tools apply to your Tickera sales.

Stats & reporting

Per-affiliate breakdowns — visits, conversions, earnings, top-performing links. Export to CSV with our CSV Export add-on.

Self-hosted on WP

Affiliate data lives on your WordPress, not in a SaaS dashboard owned by someone else. You own the relationships. Your CRM, your rules.

AffiliateWP payouts

Use AffiliateWP’s built-in payout tools to pay affiliates — their feature set, your Tickera sales data.

How it works

Three plugins,
one referral economy.

01

Install

Tickera + AffiliateWP + this bridge.

Tickera runs your ticket sales. AffiliateWP runs the affiliate program (paid, 3rd-party). This free add-on is the glue — download it from WordPress.org and activate.

02

Recruit

Your fans sign up as affiliates.

Share your affiliate signup page. Attendees, season-ticket holders, your local promoters — anyone can register, get a referral link, and start sharing your event pages.

03

Pay

Commissions track per ticket sold.

When a sale closes via someone’s referral link, AffiliateWP logs the commission against that affiliate. You pay them on whatever schedule and via whatever method you set.

Common questions

Things people ask
about running affiliates.

Is this add-on really free?
Yes. The Tickera × AffiliateWP integration is hosted free on WordPress.org. AffiliateWP itself is a paid plugin (sold by AffiliateWP, not by us) — you need a license from them. This bridge connects the two.
Do I need WooCommerce?
No. The integration works with stock Tickera. If you sell tickets through WooCommerce via our Bridge for WooCommerce, AffiliateWP’s native WC integration handles those orders too.
How does commission tracking work?
Each affiliate gets a unique URL like yoursite.com/?ref=sarah47. When a visitor clicks that link and buys a ticket within the cookie window, AffiliateWP logs the commission against Sarah. The commission rate is set per campaign or globally.
Can affiliates earn on multiple events?
Yes. One referral link can drive sales across every event on your site. You can also create per-event campaigns with different commission rates — 20% on a flagship show, 10% on smaller ones.
How do I pay affiliates?
Affiliate payouts are handled by AffiliateWP’s own payout tools — check affiliatewp.com for the current supported payout methods and workflow.
What about chargebacks and refunds?
Refunds and commission adjustments are managed inside AffiliateWP. Follow their documentation for the recommended workflow when a referred order is reversed.
