One ticket, three prices.
The right one shown to the right person.
Sell the same ticket at $29 to the public, $19 to your members, $9 to your students. Tickera detects who’s logged in, looks at their WordPress role, shows them their price. No duplicate ticket listings. No discount codes to leak. No coupons to email.
- One ticket type, unlimited per-role prices
- Works with stock WordPress roles and any custom role added by another plugin
- Logged-out guests see the default public price
- Auto-applied at checkout — no codes, no manual approval
The pricing strategy
that requires zero discount codes.
Members get member pricing
Your member role pays $19, the public pays $29. No coupon to share, no code to leak on Reddit. Login = discount.
Student / staff rates
University events, conferences, alumni galas — one ticket, three audience tiers. The roles are already in your WP user table.
Custom roles supported
Works with any custom role created by a third-party plugin. If you can see the role in your WordPress users panel, you can set a price for it.
Auto-applied at checkout
Buyer logs in, hits the event page, sees their personalized price. No “enter your member ID” field, no manual approval step, no support tickets.
One SKU, not many
Don’t duplicate “Public VIP” / “Member VIP” / “Student VIP” as three separate tickets. One ticket, three prices — way easier to manage inventory and reporting.
Logged-out fallback
Guests — not logged in — always see the default public price. They can register, sign in as a member, hit refresh, and see the member price reveal itself.
Add prices per role.
Tickera handles the rest.
Set prices
Open a ticket type.
Edit any ticket. Below the default price, you’ll find a per-role price grid — every role on your WordPress site (members, students, staff, subscribers, custom roles), each with its own price field.
Save
Empty fields = default.
Leave a role blank to charge the default price. Set a number to override. Set a higher number to charge more for that role (yes — some events want VIP-level access for “industry” roles).
Detected
Buyer sees their price.
Logged-in users see the price tied to their highest-priority role. If they have multiple roles, the lowest matching price wins by default (configurable). Logged-out users see the default.
