Do I need a Customer.io account?
Yes — this add-on is the bridge between Tickera and Customer.io. Customer.io has its own pricing (starts free for small lists, scales with subscribers). Sign up at customer.io, grab your API credentials, paste them into the Tickera admin. That’s it.
What if I use Mailchimp or ConvertKit instead?
Customer Connect is the dedicated Customer.io bridge. For Mailchimp, Tickera ships a separate Mailchimp Newsletter add-on. Other platforms can typically be integrated using Tickera’s hooks or a service like Zapier.
What customer fields get synced?
You map which Tickera attributes get pushed — ticket fields plus any fields defined via Custom Forms. Sync only what you’ll actually use in Customer.io.
What gets synced?
Ticket-purchase data flows from Tickera into Customer.io in real time as orders are placed. You pick which attributes to sync — ticket fields and any Custom Forms fields you’ve set up.
What about data privacy?
Only the ticket and purchase data you choose to sync ends up in Customer.io. When a customer requests deletion, you’ll need to handle both sides — remove the record in WordPress and use Customer.io’s tools to delete the synced copy.
