– Custom ticket template size

Solutions · 2 min read · Updated May 21, 2026

none of Tickera’s built-in ticket template sizes match what you need — the dimensions of your physical ticket stock, a wristband format, a wallet-sized credential, a specific paper size your printer cuts, or a non-standard format your event branding designer specified. This small add-on lets you define any custom width and height.

The add-on

  1. Download: custom-ticket-template-size.zip
  2. WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, install, activate.
  3. Go to Tickera → Settings → Miscellaneous.
  4. Find the new field Add additional ticket template size.
  5. Enter dimensions in widthxheight millimetres format. E.g., 150x215 for a 150mm × 215mm ticket.
  6. Save.
  7. Open Tickera → Ticket Templates, create or edit a template — your new custom size now appears in the size dropdown.
  8. Drag your elements onto the new canvas, save, you’re done.

Common non-default sizes

  • Standard ticket stock: 87x55 (credit-card-sized ticket).
  • Wristband: 260x25 (long strip for wrap-around wristbands).
  • A6 portrait: 105x148.
  • Half-letter (US): 140x216.
  • European business card: 85x54.
  • Square Polaroid format: 100x100.
  • Festival lanyard insert: 80x110.

Sizing tips

  • Measure your physical stock. If you’re printing onto pre-cut tickets, measure exactly — including any bleed margin your printer requires.
  • QR codes need minimum size. A QR smaller than ~15mm × 15mm starts to be hard to scan reliably. Don’t design a 60mm × 30mm ticket if you also need a usable QR.
  • Print bleed. If your printer needs bleed (typically 3mm extra all around), add it: a 150 × 215 final = 156 × 221 with bleed.
  • Resolution. PDFs Tickera generates are vector-friendly, so any size you pick prints crisp at any zoom. Bitmap elements (like a sponsor logo image) should be high-res so they don’t pixelate.

Combining with custom fonts

For full brand control on a custom size, pair this with custom ticket template fonts. The two add-ons together give you a fully branded, fully sized ticket — no constraints from Tickera defaults.

Multiple custom sizes

The add-on accepts one additional size per setting. If you need multiple custom sizes (one for wristbands, another for keepsakes), add a second size, save, and it joins the dropdown. Repeat as needed.

Works in standalone and Bridge mode

The add-on hooks the Tickera template builder directly. Same custom sizes available regardless of whether you’re running Tickera standalone or with Bridge for WooCommerce.
