Does Tickera support recurring events?

FAQ & Troubleshooting · 2 min read · Updated May 21, 2026

A practical answer for “Does Tickera support recurring events?” — there’s no built-in recurring-event scheduler in core, but the standard pattern is to create one event per occurrence, or to use a single event with a date range plus the check-in window restrictions for daily/weekly recurring sessions. For more advanced recurring schedules, you’d typically use a custom build.

Currently, Tickera does not support recurring events functionality. So, the only way to achieve this would be to create at least a separate ticket type for each of the occurrences and set ticket check-in availability start and end date and time to match the occurrence it represents. However, if you are running Seating Charts add-on, this would not be an option since you would need a separate seating chart for each of the occurrences and thus, you would need to create a separate event and a set of separete ticket types associated to each of the events.

Now, although this might be plausible solution if you have an event that runs, say, monthly, it can turn to pretty tedious and time consuming job if your event runs daily and even weekly. Therefore, we cannot recommend using Tickera this way.
