– Event ticketing stats on the front end
A customization recipe for displaying ticket sales statistics on the front of your site — total tickets sold, tickets remaining, percentage of capacity reached. Useful for sponsorship pitches (“we sold X% of capacity in 24 hours”), social proof on the event page (“over 5,000 tickets sold!”), and live launch-day status pages.
There were quite a few of our customers inquiring about the possibility to display statistics of the ticket sales for their events on the front end. And while you can see the number of each of the tickets sold and left within the Ticket Types area of Tickera, sometimes you might need to have this information on the front end that can be accessed by other people and not only website admins. This is why we have created this handy little add-on:
Once installed and activated, there will be three new shortcodes available for you to use:
- [tc_custom_event_stats type=”upcoming”] – displays a list of all the upcoming events along with the information about the number of ticket sales per event as well as per each ticket type and a revenue for each of the ticket types
- [tc_custom_event_stats type=”past”] – same as the previous one but in this case it displays all the past events
- [tc_custom_event_stats event_id=”123″] – displays statistic for the specific event (123 should be replaced by the event ID)

Of course, if you don’t want this information to be accessible to everyone, you can simply password protect the page or you can use our awesome Restrict plugin to restrict this content based on the user roles, user capabilities or any other you see fit.
